INITIAL CONSULTATIONS: We invite those of you who may have a legal problem to consult with one of our attorneys. The charge for this service is $20.00; you should collect together all documentation you have regarding the legal issues you wish to discuss. We will review the factual circumstances with you, attempt to answer your major questions, and if further legal services are indicated, we will tell you usually in writing what those services are, how much our minimum retainer fee would be for those services, payment arrangements, and the required procedure to retain one of our attorneys. Doing an initial consultation over the telephone has an inherent risk of misunderstandings as to facts and legal issues and should be avoided for your own protection. When an in person consultation is physically impossible, one may be arranged by telephone at the discretion of our attorneys. Saturday appointments are available at our Howe Avenue Office and evening appointments may be available subject to prior arrangement with the attorney. Name of service 4 PROBATE, WILLS, AND TRUSTS: Standard and Complex Wills are available at competitive prices. A wide range of probate and trust services are also available. Services include but are not limited to the following subjects: Wills, Trusts, Probate of Estates, Real Property Set Aside Petitions, Spousal Property Petitions, Small Estates, Revocable Trust, Special Needs Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, MediCal Qualifications, Estate Planning, Durable Power Of Attorney, Advanced Health Care Directive, Probate Avoidance, and Asset Protection. Name of service 5 GENERAL LEGAL SERVICES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY MATTERS, BANKRUPTCY, CONTRACTS, HOURLY WAGE VIOLATION, MOTOR VEHICLE SUSPENSIONS, CONTRACTS, AND REAL ESTATE MATTERS. Personal injury matters may be handled on a contingency basis meaning that there will be no fees for legal services unless there is a recovery for you but the client may be liable for costs even where there is no recovery.
